Unifi Protect G4 Pro cameras on our house look at the four points of the compass. These cameras have an eight megapixel sensor, produce 4K video and switch to infrared in darkness.

We have installed a WeatherFlow Tempest Personal Weather Station (PWS). Our PWS sits atop a 10-foot mast on a concrete base sited 20 feet above our house elevation. This provides us with up-to-the-second weather data including temperature, pressure, lightning strikes, wind, rain, UV index and local forecasts. The weather station is battery powered and uses a wireless link back to a receiver in the house. The battery is charged by integrated solar panels and should last about 10 years.
